Here is my finished Venus of Willendorf. I measured and it is 24 x 30", so quite a good size! Consider that the original sculpted figure is about 4.25" tall... Thanks to Jane (Terzis) I used a 2" brush and "got messy".
This is just fantastic! It has so much earthy energy. Also thanks for posting the info about her. I did do a google search as well. What kind of panels are you using for your oil work, Terri? Do you use Liquin as a fast drying medium at all?

ReplyDeleteLOVE it, Teri!! Great brush strokes and texture.
ReplyDeleteExcellent!
ReplyDeleteI like very much your brushstrokes and the colors...
Maggie, you are so kind. My panels are just masonite. Yes, I use a mix of Liquin and Walknut Oil alkyd with my oil paint.
ReplyDeleteK-thanks for looking, can't wait to show you it in person.
Mariela, thank you very much!
Is this me, from one of the times you've used me as a model?! Thanks for covering my head - I was having a bad hair day ;)
ReplyDeleteIn all seriousness, you are AMAZING!!!
Love ya, Jules
