Welcome! This blog began as an assignment in a digital art class. That was in 2008. I decided to keep it going as my art journal. It is fascinating for me to see how a painting develops, so this is where I post my painting progressions and exciting new things I find on creative blogs and websites. I hope you will learn along with me about painting, drawing and all kinds of art.

Hello Teri,
I like this painting especially the way you rendered the coast.
About your question, my "playing" waw about 17 X 22 cm and I used watercolor and gouache.
Thanks very much for visiting...

Hi Teri! Nice to find creative relatives over there! Your grandfather Carl Johan was son of Zacarias Baas, who was my great-grandmothers brother...!

Happy New Year fra Norway!

Oh my goodness! Thank you for writing Henrik!! How did you find my blog? Do you know (about) my mother, Claire and her sister Reggie? or any other children of Carl Johan?
Happy New Year from Alaska!
