Hi readers - so glad you are here! I've been wondering if I
should start doing this on my Substack, rather than this blogger thing.
I did start a Substack when it first came out,
but I am not really sure it is something I'm willing to commit to.
Will I need to transfer all of this blog to it? Is that possible?
Anyway, something I have been thinking about.
Today I worked on a painting that has been sitting around,
waiting for something to happen to it.
I didn't hate the painting but at this point in my art journey,
I thought it was a little boring. I took it off the shelf
and reworked it.
Here are the pictures of the process; the painting began in 2021 (!)

| I loved the way this looks with the charcoal lines, now that I see it again after five years. |

| It is extremely difficult to make the blossoms look like Alstroemeria, but I think they are ok! |

After some disruption, this is the "new" painting.

Alstroemerias Disrupted Oil on canvas mounted on Masonite 16" x 12" Even when I "disrupted" the blossoms, they look pretty good, you can still tell they are Alstroemeria, or Peruvian Lily ... I hope! |
